What we did
The project will include for Electrical and Mechanical system upgrades, revisions to the building envelope, abatement of hazardous materials, structural upgrades and a complete reconfiguration of the spaces including architectural finishes that will ensure the University of Guelph’s requirements are completely satisfied in the project journey.
Construction of the New Treatment rooms, ICU and Staff Lounge areas within the former Surgery and Anesthesia areas will provide their own complexities by way of the project being completed within an existing facility as the balance of the Ontario Veterinary College remains operational.
The project has only recently commenced on-site, however given the building was designed and constructed in the 1960’s and 1970’s with several renovations taking place since that time and the tests this will present.
Our experience together with our supply chain partners knowledge, will ensure this project receives the same respect and due diligence we apply to working within live hospital environments. This is what excites us at Gen-eer, for the challenge in the execution and delivery of this exciting project.
Delivery of this exciting flagship project on behalf of the University of Guelph will provide an advanced high-end development for the facility to continue in their stellar work providing the best possible patient care to Animals and their Owners.
